7 Pakistani’s Mentioned in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia List

Pakistani entrepreneurs and youth is skilled and has potential to do wonders. Recently it has been proved that Pakistani’s can do wonders in whatever field. Forbes listed this year’s 30 Under 30 Asia List, and it names 7 young Pakistani entrepreneurs in it too. It is very seldom that we see any Pakistani entrepreneur, startup or inspirational story making the headlines in international journals.

Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia List 2018:

Forbes is an international business journal with having more than 100 million readerships around the world. The journal, yearly publishes young innovators and disruptors from Asia in its 30 Under 30 Asia List. It is a proud moment for the whole country of Pakistan, as 7 younger minds from the country make it to 2018 young innovators and disruptors list of Forbes.

Singer Musician Momina Mustehsan:

The Coke Studio, “Afreen Afreen” singer Momina Mustehsan is among top Pakistani’s featured by Forbes. Momina witnessed fame after her much-heard the song of coke studio, Afreen Afreen. The song was a hit on YouTube and broke all records by becoming the most viewed video in Pakistan. But she is not selected in Forbes list due to her soulful voice rather for her support of women’s rights. She was quoted as

“Do we hate our women? I don’t think so. In fact, Pakistan has more women representation in government than the U.S., and we have twice elected a female head of state. Empowering women in Pakistan would mean raising them equal to boys, providing them the same education, giving them the same job opportunities, equal wages and equal respect.”

Asad Raza and Ibrahim Shaha:

Asad Raza and Ibrahim Shaha have been selected in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia List due to their healthcare startup, Neurostic. The duo is focused and determined to provide better healthcare facilities to underdeveloped and developing countries. Neurostic provides healthcare wearable’s of low cost but high quality to underdeveloped and developing countries.

17-year-old Shaheer Niazi also featured in 30 Under 30 List 2018:

This young lad from Pakistan is truly an inspiration to many. Forbes has recognized him as a complete scientist. He was mentioned as “a full-fledged scientist” for his work in Physics. His research paper titled “The Electric Honeycomb” consists of the first ever photograph of movement of ions.

Adnan and Adeel Shafi:

Founders of PriceOye, a price comparison platform, Adnan and Adeel Shafi are among few of those Pakistanis securing a position in 30 Under 30 list. PriceOye compares the prices of mobiles and other gadgets in fewer commute cities of Pakistan.

Sadia Bashir:

Another great daughter of the soil, Sadia Bashir is on Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia List 2018. She is a game developer. She founded Pixel Art Games Academy which provides training in following disciplines: game design, development, and animation to name a few.

Hamza Farukh:

This kind-hearted man started a project Bond-e-Shams (droplets of the sun). This project is striving to provide clean drinking water in those villages of the country where drinkable water is hard to get.

Faizan Hussain

Last but not the least, Faizan is selected for his noble work and mind behind Perihelion Systems. Perihelion Systems funds startups that develop technologies for the general public.
